Get to Know Us

We’ve been part of the Alberta maker community since 2017 — Robin selling small-batch soaps and body products, and Kalev with custom t-shirts and drinkware at local farmers markets.

We love making things. What we didn’t love was the grind of setting up and tearing down every weekend, managing a booth while also trying to keep up with production, and never having a real home for our craft. We watched other talented makers face the same thing, year after year. So we decided to do something about it.

Bless The Maker is the store we always wished existed — built from the inside out, by makers, for makers.

OUR MISSION

To give Alberta’s talented makers a professional retail home that reflects the quality of what they create — so they can spend less time selling and more time making. We believe handcrafted goods deserve to be discovered, and the people who make them deserve to be celebrated.

OUR PHILOSOPHY

We don’t just rent you a shelf. We are your full-service retail partner — your success is our success. From curated vendor selection and professional store design, to marketing investment and real-time vendor reporting, everything here is built on a simple belief: if you don’t succeed, we don’t succeed.

OUR APPROACH

Robin brings 30+ years in administration, IT, and e-commerce. Kalev brings a background in retail management, merchandising, and marketing. Together, we built something neither of us could have created alone — a store with the operational discipline of premium retail and the genuine heart of the maker community. Every decision, from store layout to social media, is made through that dual lens.

OUR COMMUNITY

Bless The Maker exists at the intersection of makers and the people who love what they make. For our vendors, it’s a permanent, beautifully merchandised retail home. For our shoppers, it’s a place to discover authentic, locally made goods and connect with the stories behind them. When makers thrive, communities thrive — and that’s exactly what we’re here to build.

Whether you’re a shopper looking for something meaningful, or a maker looking for a retail home that truly gets it — welcome. You belong here.
